DESCRIPTION: Standard Data Analyst responsibilities of Data Acquisition, Analysis & Processing along with the additional accountability of the overall Mud Logging Operations at the client/well site during entire project duration.

 

RESPONSIBILITY:

·     Supervise Schlumberger operations at the well site

·     Responsible for unit spares and inventory management

·     Perform technical audit of the unit and compliance to operating standards

·     Conduct /Attend DWOP(Drill well on Paper) Meeting or Pre-spud meetings, Toolbox meetings

·     Generate reports (Daily, Hole section, FWOR, CSR etc.) on time

·       Manage the crew assigned to the unit (Task sheet evaluation, crew schedule,SLP-3 input to FSS on crew performance, Crew moral and motivation

·     Overall SQ & HSE performance of the job along with Unit Inspection & Unit Performance Evaluation report.

FIELD OPERATIONS & RESULT (OMAN):

·       Field Tests in sultanate of Oman at  OOCEP sites (FAHUD-BLOCK 65) successfully tested the equipment and the Geoflex  procedures  on  an  exploratory  wells  ‘KARAM1-H1,  KARAM1-H2  and  KARAM-1H3  for  Oman  oil  in Sultanate of Oman, with continuous (24/7) operation ranging 22 days (from 29 august to 21 June 2016) with

558m data logged with 0% data loss.

 

·       Conventional  reservoir:   Characterize  rock   heterogeneity,  Sequence   stratigraphy,  Lithofacies  description, Identification of cements in sandstone (feldspars, clays, carbonate), Characterization of carbonates, Improve log interpretation (petro physical evaluation)

 

·       Unconventional reservoir: Identify brittle zones, No limitation on lateral well, Flag organic rich formation, Proxy for environment of deposition, Reservoir Quality, Completion Quality

 

·       Hostile environment: Analysis performed at any times, No risk of lost in hole, near real-time analysis, direct analysis on the rock, Cost effective solution

 

 

Position: Mud logging Geologist / Analyst / Field Specialist

Location: Republic of Chad (Central West Africa)

 

Ø   Assignment: Assigned to United Hydrocarbons Limited, Belanga, Republic of Chad, Central West

Africa.

 

DESCRIPTION:

·      Communicate to the GSS Field Specialist/Engineer all enquiries for more/improved services

·     Assists the GSS Field Engineer in rigging up and rigging down the mud logging equipment

·     Attend all meetings including QHSE briefings, Observe -Report and Intervene, if necessary.

·     Perform other duties as assigned by direct supervisor/Manager

 

 

RESPONSIBILITY:

 

·               Carried out or  supervises the  collection, the  processing and description of cuttings samples, from the planned lagged depths and intervals

·            Assists in core recovery and core description when required

·            Collects and enters the rig and well data

·               Responsible for communicating any information that helps maintain Primary Well Control and  well integrity during well site operations

·            Completes the volume balance sheet when tripping and alerts the data engineer of discrepancies

·            Executes the maintenance and calibration of sensors and gas equipment
