I worked as operations geologist supervisor my duties were :
- Analysing, evaluating and describing formations while drilling using cuttings, gas, FEMWD (formation evaluation measurement while drilling) and wireline data;
- Comparing data gathered during drilling with predictions made at exploration stage;
- Identifying lithostratigraphic formation boundaries, casing setting depths and coring points calling for coring on shows and gas;
- Advising on drilling hazards and drilling bit optimisation
- Supervising mudlogging, FEMWD and wireline services personnel
- Monitoring quality control in relation to mudlogging, FEMWD and wireline services
- Keeping detailed records and writing reports
- Uundertaking evaluation of offset data before beginning drilling
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of MWD (measuring while drilling) tools such as gamma and resistivity
- Supervising one or more wells in the same area
- Open hole logging: witness logging operation, reporting logging results to the offices, quick log interpretation
- Supervion of log while drilling (LWD) and measure while drilling (MWD) and determine top formation ,reservoir ,OWC.GOC ,depend on LWD&MWD
- supervising and evaluate cased hole logging (TDT, PLT, , USIT, CBL/VDL, CPST, GR-CCL, Tubing puncher ).Water shut off (MPBT,cement bailing) and different Perforation techniques such as ( TCP, through tubing and casing guns: Enerjet, Scallop, HSD, Casing guns…). Bridge plugs

{C}· Describe the cuttings: determine formation tops , pay zones, OWC, GOC, gas shows or oil shows, core point
{C}· Core operation: check core tools, check core progress, transfer core sample to boxes, core description, core load preparation. Core documentation
{C}· Determine top formation for casing setting depths, section TD, and determine the target.
{C}· Casing point: determine formation competence for set the casing, casing shoe strength.
{C}· Open hole logging: witness logging operation, reporting logging results to the offices, quick log interpretation.
{C}· Offset wells correlation.
{C}· Supervion of log while drilling (LWD) and measure while drilling (MWD) and determine top formation ,reservoir ,OWC.GOC ,depend on LWD&MWD
