Responsible for all Electrical Maintenance, troubleshooting, commissioning and installation on-board the th Generation Cyber/Amphion Drillship, Gusto design Drillship, Gusto MSC design Drillship and Jack-up JU/ drilling rigs. Vast amount of experience gained during rig build and all commissioning in Singapore ship yard, navigation to offshore Brunei and start-up and drilling its first HPHT wells for Total E&P Borneo. As always in the offshore installations health and safety is a major factor of the works. Experience in this area includes different forms of PTW, JSA, Risk Assessment and Tag-Out Lock-Out system. I proactively take my role in health and safety seriously to ensure the safety of all personnel and equipment. I have actively taken part in the Noble Competency program.

 

I  am  used  to  completing  accurate  and  concise  Daily  Reports,  Service  Reports,  and  handover documentation for the office, our client and back to back Engineers. Respond to immediate electrical hazards, exercise stop work when necessary, and notify the appropriate personnel of existing hazards. Prepare parts lists and order parts. Respond to emergency service calls, reducing rig down time and reducing rd party expenditures. Monitor and managed the learning and development requirement of Assistant Electrician tVast amount of experience gained during rig build and all commissioning in Singapore ship yard, navigation to offshore Brunei and start-up and drilling its first HPHT wells for Total E&P Borneo. Oct - Jan     Saipem, Scarabeo -Rig Electrician

 

Rig  electrician  performing  routine  maintenance,  installation  and  fault  finding  on-board  a  th Generation Deepwater Semi-submersible offshore in Angola.    A key member in a technical team following safe working practices at all times. Experienced working on equipment such as Wirth GHEG Draw-works, Wirth TPK Mud Pumps, Hydra-lift HPS-E Top Drive, Brandt VSM

 

Shakers. Power to the unit was supplied from five NEBB kva and two HSK Generators. Diagnosed and performed troubleshooting on various circuitry systems. Performed other rig maintenance tasks as assigned by supervisor.

 

 

Oct - Oct     Halliburton - Electrical/Electronic Technician

 

As an offshore Electrical/Electronic service Technician working on Halliburton Cement, Wireline and coil tubing equipment on oil and gas rigs. Work included installation, overhauling, maintaining, troubleshooting, inspection and testing (COMPEX inspections) and commissioning on land and offshore rig installations. I have worked on projects in Europe and Africa and working as service rig support in the North Sea. When not offshore was in the workshop calibrating -mA instruments anything up to

 

K and maintaining and troubleshooting on faulty and out of service equipment. Various other Electrical work included PLC systems and process control.  I am used to completing accurate and concise daily reports, service reports and handover documentation for the office, customers and back to back technicians.

Time served electrician demonstrating competence to become a qualified registered SJIB Electrician within years. Responsible for carrying out both industrial, commercial and domestic electrical installations. During apprenticeship was contracted by Cegelec to perform install projects and decommission of equipment such as deluge and fire control systems at the Total site, St Fergus gas plant. Contracted to Boddam Power Station to perform installation and maintenance on light and heavy engineering projects including gas turbines.
