- monitoring drilling parameters (ROP, WOB, torque, RPM, pressure, flow);

- manage and monitor pit levels;

- calculate and verify the trip sheets while monitoring the trip tank;

- responsible for organizing roughnecks and derrick men for daily operations as tripping, drilling, rigging up BHA or any special operations as cementing, casing running, etc.;

- responsible for nipple up/ nipple down the BOP stack, as per instructions;

- daily checking the CUMI unit pressures;

- manage the centrifuge vacuum pumps, the shale shakers and the mud degasers (vacuumatic and poorboy)

- line up the stand pipe manifold and the choke manifold as per required shut in procedure (hard or soft).

Main activities and responsibilities: 12 hours shifts involving:

- Connecting and disconnecting of drill string (while tripping in hole/pulling out of hole using hy-draulic powered tongs and hoisting devices) drill bits, drill collars, drilling tools and racking back drill pipe into slots located on the board in the derrick and setting test pumps down hole in a timely manner safely and efficiently for contractors and customers.

- Loading and unloading drill pipe on to and from pipe racks and staged areas containing tools, drill bits, drill collars, elevators, etc.

- Keep daily logs of mud weight and viscosity levels for driller.

- Responsible for Rigging up and rigging down anytime the rig has completed and serviced the well

-Monitoring the shale shakers and helping with replacing spare parts, changing the lines (shale shakers, trip tank, vacuum degasser, sand traps, bleed off, etc.)

-cleaning and maintaining the rig floor and the drilling rig equipment

-repairing and replacing the drilling pumps equipment.

Main activities and responsibilities: As a wireline engineer, the main activities done are log-ging, perforating and sample collecting.

As a wireline team leader I am responsible to organize and prepare the wireline opera-tion, to calibrate and check for valid certifications and condition of the equipment and at the well site not just to make sure that the quality of the recorded data is in perfect quality condi-tion and according to the client’s requests and specifications, but also to organize the activity that nothing unsafe could occur and assign the tasks to the team members to make sure that the proces’s efficiency is at it’s maximum.

Working in different environments and locations every job, I am directly responsible for the quality of the service delivered at the wellsite, in terms of safety, quality and efficiency of operation up to the SLB standard and also for communication between SLB and client.

Working with radiation, explosives and other potentially hazardous equipment like pres-sure, suspended weights or high tension cable and taking the responsibility for, involves knowledge, calm, seriousness and being able to organize the activity and take care of every sin-gle detail as for the job to be completed safe and with best quality results.
