• Reporting and investigating incidents, performing Root Cause Analysis (RCA), formulating correct and preventive actions for the same. • Carrying out the crew emergency preparedness drills like gas leak, fire, pit, and trip. • Ensure heat index properly monitored by location watchman and medic. • Ensure heat stress mitigation measures are effectively implemented. • Attend weekly meeting at client office for discussion on HSE summary for previous week. • Ensure timely closure of open items in order to prevent any NCR from client. • Conducting Hazard Hunt and ensuring long term implementation on control measures. • Assisting management in complying with current health safety legislation & regulations with objective of ensuring all reasonable & proper measures are taken to protect the safety & health of learners, staff & visitors. • Reporting of Stop card with its analysis to the office management. • Preparing & generating reports and conducting toolbox talk on daily basis. • Effective discussion of Qatar Energy Alert and ensure the implementation of the recommendation from client. • Reviewing Risk Register and implementing committed control measures. • Tracking of status of all stop cards into web portal. – Maintain CAR (Corrective action Register) for tracking of open items arises from stop cards, audits (internal & external). • Maintaining the HSE Operation Register, Lifting Tools & Tackles Register, Rig Equipment Inspection and Drop Register. • Executing all inspections and maintenance of Critical Safety Equipment & emergency response equipment. • Involving & contributing to rig move risk assessment teams. • Assisting Rig Manager to implement HSE regulations, policies, and Objectives. • Acting as Controller of PTW activity on board, Work Hazard analysis & risk assessments. • Ensure approved lifting plan only being utilized while working on location during rig move. • Preparing the Pre – Spud Checklist, Route Surveys and Rig Mobilization Plan, Route map for emergency. • Ensure proper control measure implemented during all critical activities such as N/up BOP, N/Down BOP, Kelly lift using crane, confined space entry, etc. • Ensuring implementation of Site Safety and Health Plan. • Reviewing and monitoring Daily Safety Report (DSR) and recommending action points and observations to HSE Compliance.
