• Assume the responsibility of the respective rig’s electrical maintenance so as to ensure maximum rig output with zero hazards. • Conduct continuous checks and tests in order to maintain the electrical system in conformity with safety standards. • Operate the electrical system and SCRs(silicon control rectifier system), including generation of electrical power so as to obtain maximum output generation within time and cost limits. • Organize , schedule and allocated manpower resources for shutdown and turnaround work related to electrical equipment in accord with rig shutdown and turnaround plans. • Reviewe the inventory of spare parts and reduce the dormant stock to optimum levels so as to reduce the inventory carrying cost. • Continuously apply spot checks on operating electrical equipment to ensure availability and capability to handle upcoming operations. • Conduct all works activities in a safe and environmentally responsible manner at all times by not taking on any task(s) that are perceived to be unsafe.
