•Planning and execution of all aspects of the drilling and rig-workover project and the health and safety of all operational personnel and the protection of the environment. •Ensure that drilling/workover operations are conducted in a safe and environmentally responsible manner and executed and performed in accordance with company policies and local legislation. •Schedule and coordinate all resources and share this information with the drilling team in the morning meetings. •Implement safety and environmental policies in close cooperation with the HSSE department. •Maintenance of effective operations cost control process. Encourage continuous improvement and mentor the staff. •Monitor drilling engineering parameters to support drilling operation. •Responsible for the setup of drilling bottom hole assembly (including bit) that is run in hole and communicates changes to the drilling program with the drilling team. •Reviewing drilling programs prepared by the Drilling engineers. •Technical invoice verification of all drilling related services. •Technical Release of PR/PO in the SAP-system. •Coordinate and monitor all well site activities and logistics support in close cooperation with materials coordinator. •Liaise with Civil/Projects department regarding rig site construction and ensure that Aramco standards and policies are met. •Actively participate in lesson learnt process during and after the completion of each well drilling. •Ensure HSSE Emergency Response System is tested with simulation exercises and the drilling team can respond to HSSE emergencies.
