• Supervising land rigs, drilled shallow, Directional wells, Side Tracks & deep wells. • Implementation of drilling operations activities on onshore drilling rigs. • The major tasks include planning, organizing, coordination and management of all parties involved in these activities, i.e. drilling and petroleum engineers, geologists, contractors and auxiliary personnel. • At the same time Monitoring progress of day-by-day operations and the timely achievement of the objectives set; reports on that and other vital issues need to be filled; usually on a daily basis to a Drilling Superintendent, In his supervisory capacity. • I am also responsible for ensuring cost optimizing, safety of the personnel & property on the rig, as well as for controlling the environmental impact of the operations, and providing reports and maintaining documentation on all of the above. • Decide whether to abandon the rig or suspend all the operations in case of adverse weather conditions. • Manage the program in accordance with approval company programs, HSE policies, standards and systems to fully meeting project objectives. • Provide instruction to the drilling and third party service contractors with respect to conduct of the work. • Ensure service company personnel are aware of their duties and that all required personnel, materials and equipment are at the rig and checked ready for job. • Ensure well control and safety equipment is serviceable, and personnel are competent in its use. • Monitor and evaluate well condition in conjunction with the drilling superintendent and Operation Geologist. • Monitor Mud and drilling parameters according to hole condition and drilling program as well.
