As a Night Tool Pusher, I am responsible for supervising night shift drilling operations to ensure efficiency, safety, and compliance with company policies. My role involves overseeing the crew, maintaining equipment, and addressing operational challenges that arise during the shift. One of my primary duties is monitoring drilling parameters and ensuring adherence to the drilling program. I enforce safety protocols and conduct toolbox talks to promote a safe working environment. Compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations is always a priority. I also oversee the maintenance of drilling equipment, ensuring repairs and replacements are conducted promptly to minimize downtime. Managing inventory for tools and materials is an essential part of my role to ensure smooth operations. Effective communication is vital in my position. I maintain regular updates with the Rig Manager and day shift team, providing detailed reports of activities and any incidents during the night shift. Additionally, I mentor and train less experienced crew members to enhance their skills and confidence. In emergencies, I act as the primary point of contact, implementing response plans efficiently. My strong leadership, technical knowledge, and commitment to safety ensure the success of the night shift operations.
