Job Responsibilities: (TOP DRIVE, NOV TDS8SA 750 TONS, 1150 HP. DRAW-WORKS ADS 10T, MUD PUMP 14P 220 WP 7500 PSI,2200 HP, • Plan and complete mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic works, including major maintenance, upgrades, equipment overhauls and equipment modification. • Ensure that the permit to work and isolation systems are strictly adhered to update and maintain correct PPE requirements. • Demonstrate commitment to company HSE and Environmental policies through leadership and guidance. • Supply rig management with maintenance statistics of the rig. • Maintaining adequate spare parts to facilitate a safe and efficient operation and supervising the day to day running of the Materials Dpt. • Advise on ways of making improvements to the maintenance of the rig. Monitor Equipment performance. Random spot checking of equipment. Inspect equipment with poor reliability and high maintenance cost. • Co -ordinate periodic maintenance activities plan the maintenance and service of equipment according to the PMS guidelines, ensuring that the maintenance of equipment is accurate and complete. • Ensuring all Mechanical related equipment is covered by tasks and incorporated in the PMS system • Routine and regular maintenance of all Emergency Safety Equipment’s. • Ensure that all mechanical, Pneumatic and hydraulic related equipment and system operates in a safe and efficient manner. • Organize and promote the rig maintenance system with Maximo and then with oracle. • Ability to read and troubleshoot complicated hydraulic and pneumatic system through schematics and drawings. • Maintain all hydraulic and pneumatic equipment on board, NOV (TDS 8SA), king post cranes, Iron Roughnecks, Draw-works, Mud Pumps, BOP control unit, skidding unit, Drilling HPU, Main Engines, Emergency Engines and Auxiliary Equipment and Jacking gearbox etc. • Perform maintenance on the Rig floor as an when required. • Operate, maintain and repair as necessary the Main Engines, cooling System, lube oil system, fuel system including life Boats, Emergency engines, Emergency Compressor.
