On daily basis ensuring trouble free operation/data logging & review/safe operation as per HSE norms/minimize power/spares consumption of electrical equipment which are installed all over shore base yards in Kakinada and also provide support to shore base team for smooth operation.  Preparation of Maintenance checks list, PM schedule and tasks for periodic maintenance of equipment and ensuring execution as per schedule.  Review power & spares consumption on regular interval and ensure corrective action wherever applicable.  Issuing / Implementation of PTW and Lockout & Tag out as when required.  Ensuring timely availability of critical spares / consumables in the stores for electrical equipment to minimize downtime and trouble free operation.  Prepare, review and validate Standard operation procedures and Standard maintenance procedures.  Ensure the required tests / calibration and certification prior to the expiry for all electrical equipment’s.  Identify training needs for electrical crew for improving their competency level, schedule training calendar and facilitate training as per yearly training calendar. 3  Ensure all electricity bills from various yards are verified and certified, follow up with F & A for timely payment to avoid disconnection of service and ensure uninterrupted operation.  Liaison and co-ordinate with Electricity board and Electrical Authorities for inspection of electrical installations and various approvals, comply with all regulatory requirements for uninterrupted power supply.  Participating in self-verification audit along with RIL team and closing the observations with in stipulated time.  Preparation of MIS reports (Daily, Monthly and Annual Reports)  Ensure consumption of electrical power in shore base is within the targeted limits.  Keeping all records, corresponding progress reports and certificates.
