• Organizes and promotes PMS (Preventive Maintenance System) and predictive maintenance with particular emphasis on safety. • Carrying out preventive, routine and non-routine maintenance, repairs of Mechanical equipments and Marine equipments on onshore and offshore rigs such as Pumps, Winches, Air Compressor, Cranes and Valves Centrifugal Pump. • Maintenance and repair work of the engines i.e., CATERPILLER D399, D398, 3408, 3406, FM-ALCO engine. • Overhauling and Repair work of pumps and its alignment works (replacement of bearing, impeller, shaft, wear plate, etc). • Servicing of Power tong and Pipe spinner. • Maintain and repairs brake cooling system and pumps. • Inspect, maintains and repairs cranes / forklifts and other vehicles. • Controlling the engine room and performing troubleshooting where necessary. • Repair and maintain mechanical equipment as per P.M.S. • Making adjustments to maintenance schedules when necessary. • Completing all related documentation using Systems Applications and Products (SAP) software while maintaining a reliable storage of spare parts and consumables, ordering new items when necessary in coordination. • Regularly sent young mechanics to additional training courses to enhance their capabilitiesand those of the rig team. • Train and evaluates subordinates. • Monitor the reliability of spare parts utilized.
