 Responsible for preventive and corrective Maintenance on all Topside Mechanical Equipment including but not limited to  Top Drive Systems ( BENTEC TD-500-XT) Draw works ( G-D 3000E ) Including Auxiliary equipment Derrick ( Crown Block, Travelling block ) Iron Roughneck, Mud Pump ( Oil Well A-1700 PT ).  Manages troubleshooting efforts for drilling tools and systems including complex hydraulic systems and facilitates repairs down to the lowest replaceable unit.  Documents equipment historical data for the purpose of reliability analysis and planning necessary upgrades.  Review Mechanics department weekly maintenance system entries for completeness and accuracy.  Review Mechanics daily checklist for follow-up actions to any noted discrepancies Holds weekly stop tour with all Mechanical department personnel selecting a different area each week supervises the order.  Enter maintenance and repair data into a maintenance management system (MMS)  Keep written hand-over Dotes to ensure efficient and accurate transfer of information.  Performs proper set up and calibration of the hydraulic automated circuit components.  Carrying out timely preventive maintenance activities and special projects involving mechanical components.  Maintain service reports and advise supervisor on condition of equipment and spare parts requirements.  Maintain a safe and organized work area throughout all tasks and completion of tasks.  Inform supervisor and other department heads of any technical problems or limitations that may affect that safe operation of the rig.
