Maintained and repaired AC & DC drives, generators, engine controls, and VFDs. Ensured operational efficiency of winches, HVAC systems, top drives, and other critical rig equipment. Managed heating systems to counter extreme temperatures, including fuel burners and air heaters for rig operations. Performed electrical repairs and preventive maintenance across all rig systems, including SCR drive modules and 600VAC buss systems. Managed the preventive maintenance program and performed load calculations for motors and power distribution. Oversaw the inspection of hazardous area equipment, including Ex panels and crane control panels. Ensured smooth operation of all electrical systems associated with the drilling process.
