Responsibilities: ▪ Spearheading crucial projects by coordinating laterally between diverse technical teams and vertically across management hierarchy to seamlessly implement project rollouts, management systems and process enhancements. ▪ Managing operational areas and formulating implementation road maps for long-term strategy, plans and programs to ensure safe, reliable/efficient operations in land Rig (Rig844 ) Oman Zone as well as Al Ahmady Yard Kuwait zone. ▪ Assuring strictest adherence to quality standards by implementing rigorous quality assurance policies and resolving any unexpected technical difficulties, identifying bottlenecks and affected systems re-engineering. ▪ Developing Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) to demonstrate achievable drilling rig performance goals and preparing strategies to improve the performance of Weatherford in Oman & Kuwait. ▪ Assigning duties to the technical personnel for job/project management/administration and monitoring their daily progress. Guiding the field staff in case of technical queries and determining work directions. ▪ Evaluating operational/maintenance cost estimates and ensured operational readiness of all safety/emergency equipment by executing all rig management system ( RMS) and Rig Asst Management System (RAMS) preventive maintenance certified programs steps to be ahead of any unforeseen technical difficulties. ▪ Presenting monthly data of project performance parameters to the senior management to eliminate bottlenecks in maintenance. Notifying possible avenues of improving the operational procedures. ▪ Verifying compliance of operations with local laws, decrees/regulations and ensuring client requirements, contracts and terms of conditions are met. ▪ Applying technical leadership to all aspects of delivery of independent well management projects including developing well designs, cost estimates, operational programs and supporting rig-site operations.
