SAFETY ➢ Responsible for own personal safety and the safety of co-workers. ➢ Shows commitment to Job safety analysis and Job risk analysis and STOP card safety Program and HSE culture through personal behaviour and willingness to influence others. ➢ Participates in rig safety meetings and other rig safety and technical training programs. ➢ Follows correct lock-out, tag-out procedures. ➢ Eliminates all electrical hazards as they are identified. Establishes effective barriers when unable to remove hazards. EQUIPMENT / MAINTENANCE ➢ Ensures all electrical tools and equipment are kept in safe working order. ➢ Maintains proper level of electrical parts, spares and equipment inventories. ➢ Assists the Mechanic and Welders on special projects when requested to do so. REGULATORY COMPLIANCE ➢ Complies with company policy and safety guidelines, as well as applicable government regulations and rules. ➢ Assists in corporate and regulatory inspections. ➢ Ensures compliance with Permit to Work system (WMS E- Permits) COMMUNICATIONS ➢ Conducts pre-task meetings and Knowledge Transfer, undertakes the work required and performs the House keeping. ➢ Maintains daily log of activities required.
