Carry out Daily Inspections and Maintenance on Electrical Equipment around the rig. • Electrical Engineer with relevant experience in Electrical, Electronics, IT and Instrumentation in Onshore projects and Offshore Jack up Drilling operations. • Expertise in Computer, IT applications, Programming, Automation, Electronics and Electrical troubleshooting. • Confident, Energetic, Flexible, positive thinking and willing to Learn. • Proven Leadership Skills involving managing, developing, and motivating teams to achieve objectives with good safety culture. • Attend Daily Pre-tour meeting with the Maintenance crew in RMS office on daily activities to be carried out. • Supervise and carry out maintenance / routine inspection activities of electrical plant, equipment, and automation / electro systems in accordance with the Rig Maintenance System • Actively implement the permit to work and Isolation systems prior to start any non-routine job. • Carry out periodic maintenance according to the Rig Maintenance System (RMS) guidelines and coordinate that maintenance with other department heads or supervisor. Hand on experience on CMMS system for equipment PMs. • Carried out all maintenance related activities at highest standards with all safety aspects. • Troubleshoot and repair all power generation and distribution equipment, i.e., generators and engine controls, all types of starters & switchgears, transformers, mud pump, Drawworks, Top drive, cranes, water maker , HVAC, Shakers, fir& Gas, Laundry& Galley Equipment, firefighting equipment’s, anchor winches, etc. • Carry out Maintenance and Repair of General Rig Equipment such as HVAC system, refrigeration plants, communication systems, lighting, power generation system, power distribution system, drilling equipment, marine equipments, all auxiliaries across the rig. • Carry out Maintenance and Repair on Electrical components of Drilling Equipment, AC & DC drilling motors and its auxiliaries, Top Drive System, Drawworks, Mud Pumps. • Install new equipment as required, with regards to electrical wiring, fixtures, and junction boxes. • Strong ability to read electrical Schematics & power system single line Diagram. • Inform OIM/RMS and other Department heads of any technical problems or limitations that may affect the safe operation to the Rig. • Assisting in implementation of outstanding recommendations from audits, survey as issued by Clients, Regulatory Authorities or Rig Management. • Communicate equipment problems or breakdown information through OIM to Field Support Group. • Actively doing the critical and non- critical MR’s. • Actively carry out all paper works related to the rig management system. • Incorporate the THINK planning process into all tasks, whether working alone or as part of a team • Participate daily in START Process and Stops card. • Call a Time Out for Safety (TOFS) Whenever an Unplanned Hazards or a Change in the Expected Results is being observed.
