With over two decades of experience in the oil and gas industry, I have demonstrated expertise in a range of roles, from environmental supervision to advanced drilling operations. My career began in environmental cleaning, where I was promoted to Environmental Technical Supervisor, managing cleaning crews and ensuring compliance on drilling rigs for Petróleos Mexicanos (Pemex). As I transitioned into drilling operations, I gained hands-on experience as a Floorhand and Derrickman, handling hydraulic and pneumatic tools, performing pipe tripping, maintaining mud pumps, and managing solids control systems. These roles honed my technical skills and prepared me for leadership positions. As a Driller, I successfully directed operations on high-temperature, high-pressure wells, including those in the Ixachi field. My responsibilities included supervising crews, executing operational programs, and ensuring adherence to safety standards. On projects such as the AE-0032-2M-JOAQUÍN-02 and Mesozoico, I managed teams to deliver wells on schedule while maintaining compliance with stringent safety and environmental guidelines. In my role as a Drilling Technical Inspector (ITP), I oversaw turnkey projects, including the drilling of complex HT-HP wells. I ensured operational efficiency, supervised equipment integrity, and upheld safety protocols, contributing to the success of high-stakes exploration projects.
