Daily reporting, keep personnel working in a safe manner, Rig upkeep, open communication with management and company representative, Rig maintenance, supervise operations when needed, pre plan day to day activities, tourly safety meetings , safety meetings before each important upcoming operation( ex.; drill line slip & cut, Rig up/ Rig down operations), ensure all procedures during ops are carried out successfully and safely, ensure Rig has proper inventory for upcoming drilling operations, make sure everyone has access to proper protective equipment at all times, daily,weekly, monthly bop drills as well as fire,h2s, and medical drills, ensure daily/tourly reports are completed correctly, make sure relief has proper handover notes, on call 24 hours per day or as needed, make sure all 3rd party personnel are up to date on all requirements/certifications.
