Job role  Perform Preventive Maintenance (PMR) and corrective Maintenance (CM)  Perform breakdown repairs whenever required and being pro-active in identifying opportunities to improve plant, machinery reliability and performance, troubleshoot and resolve problems in timely manner.  Perform hands-on tasks in handling and replacing of mechanical seals O-rings, hydraulic seals, gaskets and shaft seals, performing rotating equipment alignment for centrifugal pumps, reciprocating compressors, fin fans coolers, blowers, HVAC systems and gearboxes.  Hands on experience in hydro testing and integrity testing of valves, pipes and vessels.  Preparation and applying permit for day to day maintenance.  Hands on maintenance of all rotating equipment utilities and safety equipment.  Coordinate with Maintenance Supervisor and Lead Mechanical Technician to provide Technical support to ensure the mechanical maintenance of equipment, plant and associated systems are carried out in a safe and effective.  Carry out and lead skilled maintenance work independently in the shutdown tasks, repair, overhaul, troubleshooting, alignment and modification of mechanical, pumps, valves, compressor, rotating and stationary equipment.  Perform first line maintenance and report faults on plant and equipment to ensure maximum production and plant/ equipment availability in a safe and effective manner.  Provide technical support with modifications and new equipment installations, commissioning and mothballing equipment. Responsibilities  Carries out preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance for mechanical equipment such as rotating and stationary machinery.  Report to Maintenance Supervisor & Lead Technician  Performing maintenance activities as required by the Computerized Maintenance Management System (SAP).  Performing breakdown maintenance.  Respond as appropriate to plant upsets and emergencies.  Performing first line maintenance and reporting faults on plant and equipment.  Provide technical support with modification and new equipment installation.  Provide assistance to project teams and contractors for future enhancements.  Participation in Emergency Team duties.
