• Verifying that all required tools/subs in relation to well control are prepared and readily available on the rig floor. • Completing pre-recorded data for kick sheets. • Maintaining an accurate and complete record of all equipment which enters the well ensuring drawings include length; bore; outside diameter; and fish neck are available for all tools. • Ensuring the floor hands and derrickman are correctly deployed for ongoing and upcoming operations and are familiar with the equipment and its safe operation. • Reading and recording ton-miles on drill line and maintain accurate logbook. • Checking, maintaining and repairing of the drilling equipment. • Preparedness and support to 3rd party equipment for drilling/casing operation. • Checks and readiness of pipe handling equipment • Complete pump reports. • Complete mud data sheets. • Perform all tasks in a safe manner following company standard and procedures. • Addressing any equipment/ personnel issues and reporting as required to immediate supervisors.
