• Responsible for all Drilling and well intervention activities, and for the health & safety of all personnel working within the team. • Supervising all drilling, work over and well maintenance activities, including the management of the integrated services contractors and support personnel, to ensure that all operations meet contractual quality and performance criteria. • Make orders for spares for Drilling Department. • Ensures full compliance with all mandatory procedures and regulations that relate to drilling operations • Ensures the strict adherence of the Company Safety Management System, that is, compliance with legislation, company policies, standards, procedures and monitoring compliance by personnel • Promotes and maintains a safe environment for all personnel, ensuring on-going development and training of employees plus ensure their competence level. • Observe and monitor well conditions through drilling parameters. In the event of downhole problems, take appropriate action.
