Recieve drilling parameters and instructions from company Man & Tool pusher such as wob, Rop, mud weight, pressures and pump out put and apply to continue drilling operations. Recieve handover from last shift and verify the status of operations and equipment before beginning of shift. Assist rig down/ rig up operations by coordinating crew. Fill up a daily drilling report for the activities in shift. Be safety conscious in all work and ensure that all subordinates use compulsory protective equipment. Responsible for safe working conditions on the rig at all times. Conduct pre job safety meeting with the team before starting any job. Ensure that all orders and instructions received verbally or in writing are fully understood. Check and set all parameters and alarms at beginning of shift. Participate in all drills and check the reaction time of crew in trip and pit drill and notify. Register all incident on the rig and inform supervisor.
