Directing rig crew in setting up rig and drilling. Operating controls of drill or service rig drilling and hoisting machinery. Inspecting drilling tools and equipments before and after drilling operation. Making sure that safety procedures are being followed. Supervision of Drilling Crew. Maintaining records of drilling. Supervision of Drilling Equipment. Maintenance of Equipment and Inventory. Operating the drawworks during drilling activities and complex manoeuvers. Assist in running and cementing of casing. Prepare BHA and Rig Floor Equipment of tripping, casing and cementing operation. Perform any other duties as assigned by Rig Superintendent. Organizes and direct crews for special projects. Training drill crew. Maintain good communication with the Driller, Rig Superintendent and other departments. Provides leadership and motivation for the crew. Assist with PMS.
