The Toolpusher is responsible for overseeing the drilling operations and managing the rig crew to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective drilling performance. This role ensures compliance with all safety and operational procedures and acts as a key liaison between the rig and company management. --- Key Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate all drilling rig activities and personnel. Ensure all operations comply with safety standards and company policies. Monitor drilling progress, daily reports, and rig performance metrics. Plan and schedule rig operations in coordination with the Drilling Engineer and Company Man. Oversee maintenance of rig equipment and ensure it is in safe working condition. Lead pre-tour meetings and safety drills; promote a strong safety culture onboard. Ensure proper inventory and ordering of drilling materials, tools, and spare parts. Mentor, train, and evaluate the performance of drill crew members. Handle emergency situations effectively and ensure that crew is well-trained in emergency procedures. Liaise with client representatives, third-party service providers, and shore-based management. Ensure all documentation and reports (HSE, operational, etc.) are completed accurately and on time.
