Job Responsibilities remains the same. • Working on JACK UP - Rig (West Telesto) Cyber Rig 6th Generation. • Carrying out all given duties with company’s safety procedures and maintaining its policy structures. • Ensure that the regular preventative maintenance activities for the Main Engines (CAT 3516 C-HD ,CAT C32), Air Compressor (Ingersoll Rand), Water Maker, Drill Water Manifold & Pumps, Bilge System, Fire Pump, Fuel Purifier, Mud Pupms ( NOV 14 P - 220), Cranes, Tuggers, Drawworks, TDS, Centrifugal Pumps, Valves, Centrifugal Pumps, Sewage Treatment plant are Completed. • Assist the Chief Mechanic with the maintenance and repairs of major mechanical problems of equipment throughout the oil drilling rigs including devices used in the living accommodation. • Maintain engine room log on daily basis and daily tanks sounding reports. • Take care of all the engines , compressor, pumps and mechanical equipment on the rig. Including hours since last service, oil and filter changes etc. • Checking the oil, Oil temperature, pressure, fuel pressure and radiator water level and record information in the daily engine report during tour. • Responsible and ensures that the fuel oil , drill water transfer that occur from supply vessels are performed in a safe manner while complying rules and regulations as then pertain to this area of the drilling industry. • Preparing Equipment’s for rig up and rig down times. • Assisting in assembling oil field machinery, equipment’s with all the departments. • Learning the work safety procedures. • Using permit to work system on daily basis. • Responsible member of the team. • Handle heavy equipment’s. • Maintain and lubricate machinery to keep it running efficiently. • Troubleshoot mechanical problems and make repairs to prevent and correct them. • Lock out / tag out of all equipment that work is being performed on.
