• Manage all the drilling & related activities. • Maintain all measurements and calculations related to well. • Manage all operations on rig floor carried out safely and within Company’s safety culture. • Ensure all operations are proceeding in a safe manner, and responsible for correcting or notifying appropriate people of any unsafe acts and/or conditions which exist. • Attend and participate in pre-tour, post-tour special operations and weekly safely meetings. • Ensure all crewmembers are capable of performing their respective duties within the parameters of company policies. • Completing Blowout Prevention (BOP) drills, well control sheets, pipe tallies, equipment checks as prescribed by company policy. • As a supervisor of the drill crew, instill pride and motivate employees to work safely and lead by example. • Directing and supervising the drill crew, depending upon operations being carried out. • Taking the measurement of all BHA, Drill pipe and Tubular that are to be run into and out of the hole. • Assist rig management in planning and preparing for upcoming operations in execution of client’s well program. • Monitor crew personnel to ensure adherence to all HSE related policies and procedures • Supervising the preventative maintenance program for drilling equipment and accessories on the rig including shale shakers, mud pumps, elevators, slips and other related equipment. • Continuous training and mentoring of drill crew personnel through on the job training or other training as deemed necessary. • Operate ST120, ST80.
