Assisted with the setup and takedown of drilling and production equipment. Perfoms general cleaning duties rig as directed, including washing and painting of floors,rails, structures,riming and painting of areas to maintain area of work in a clean and orderly manner. Assists Derrick-man in chemicals mixing activities including basic operation and maintenance of mud hopper to aid the drilling process. Conducted routine maintenance and inspections of rig machinery, tools and safety equipment. Assisted with loading and unloading supplies and materials. Supported the drilling crew in various tasks as directed. Followed safety protocolsand participated in safety meetings and training sessions. Performs rigging works in accordance with safety and quality requirements. Follows daily instructions given by the Deck Foreman/Rigging Foreman. Ensures rigging works are carried out according to the applicable rigging standards and best practices. Ensures coordination with the adjacent works to minimize coactivity and avoids unsafe conditions. Ensure the housekeeping of the work locations. During offshore or marine related activities, assists the marine department during mooring operations as required.
