1. Ensure compliance with all QHSE policies and procedures on the rig. 2. Conduct regular site inspections and audits (daily/weekly). 3. Monitor and enforce the proper use of PPE by all personnel. 4. Participate in Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and Risk Assessments. 5. Ensure valid and up-to-date Training Matrix compliance for all crew. 6. Lead and document incident/accident investigations and Root Cause Analysis (RCA). 7. Maintain updated records of Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and permits (PTW). 8. Conduct and document Toolbox Talks and Safety Meetings. 9. Monitor and control Red Zones and No-Go Zones. 10. Ensure proper implementation of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures. 11. Conduct emergency drills (fire, H2S, man overboard, etc.). 12. Check the readiness of emergency equipment (fire extinguishers, SCBA, first aid kits). 13. Deliver safety inductions for new personnel and visitors. 14. Report unsafe acts, near misses, and unsafe conditions promptly. 15. Assist in internal and external QHSE audits. 16. Promote a positive safety culture among the rig crew. 17. Follow up on corrective actions and close-out of audit findings. 18. Ensure environmental compliance and waste management procedures are followed. 19. Support continuous improvement in health, safety, environment, and quality systems.
