As a crane or a forklift operator, my duty is to 1st of all take proper handover from the previous operator, do visual check on my machine whenever I resume, after that do my paper checklist, inspect my lifting gadgets before using, supervise the riggers and instruct them on a proper way of slinging my load. Making sure that every lift is being done safely without incident or accident is also one of my number one duty to carry on a daily basis Confirming the tonnage of every load before carrying is also very important Above all, maintenance of the equipment is also part of my responsibility as the operator handling the machine. And the revalidation of the equipment certificate is us or very very important to do. Reporting to the supervisor before during and after work is also my responsibility.

I have a national driver's license as a authorized road user in Nigeria where I came from. I have international association of drilling contractors (IADC) competent certificate that qualifies me to use crane/ forklift anywhere in the world.
