With over three decades of hands-on experience in the Middle East and North Africa (Egypt, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Kuwait, Iraq, and Algeria), I bring a proven track record in managing full-cycle land drilling operations across a wide range of rig types and complex well programs under LSTK and DTL contractual frameworks. I am fully proficient in VFD, SCR, Compound, and Gold Pass power systems and have overseen operations using advanced equipment such as Varco & Canrig top drives, Tesco casing running tools, pipe racking systems, and RST elevators. As Rig Superintendent, I have implemented and supervised rig maintenance programs (PMS), budget allocation and tracking, API-based rig inspection planning, and HSE management system enforcement. I’ve led well control planning and incident investigations and provided guidance to senior rig site personnel during critical operations. I am also certified in advanced well control and am medically fit and available for immediate deployment. My leadership style is grounded in technical integrity, calm and decisive action under pressure, cross-cultural communication, and a performance-driven mindset. I also work as a freelance Rig Coach and Rig Inspector, which has further enhanced my knowledge of rig audit processes, performance benchmarking, and operational readiness assessments.
