v Floorman work under the direction of driller, helping with tasks like making pipe connections, operating drilling equipment (tongs, elevators, etc.). v Floorman are responsible for the upkeep of drilling equipment, ensuring it’s in good working order and reporting any issues. v Pipe should be handled in such a way that box and pin will not be damaged. Pipe should not be dropped a distance far enough to damage it. v Ensure the drill floor is kept clean and all equipment proper placed. v Ensure all rig floor equipment in operational and good working condition. v Good communication is adhered too with all crew person. v Keep tongs properly balanced and greased and Lubricate. v Keep good pins and dies in tongs. v Safely and efficiently perform all duties assigned by the driller during drilling, workover completion operation and well killing opration while kick. v Maintain a clean and tidy working environment at all times. v Changes in drilling fluid are recorded and made aware to the driller. v It is each and everone responsibility to notify the driller as soon as he sees something wrong. v All crew should be used proper ppes. v Participate  in the stop card program daily. v Never stand on the catwalk as drill pipe, casing, or drill collars are being picked up into the v door v Always keep non-skid material around the rotory.
