The Floorman is responsible for safely and efficiently assisting the Driller by performing manual labor tasks to support the drilling operations. Assist drillers in making pipe connection Supervise mixing off all drilling fluids Maintain and track inventory Properly maintain all equipment used on the drilling location Operate heavy machinery Loading and unloading mud mixing Maintenance tools and house keeping and Pickup/ lay down drill pipes drill collars,tubing casing and other BHA.Handles tubular and drilling tools using rig floor equipment (air,winch,power,tong etc) CLEAN AND MAINTENANCE THE DRILLING EQUIPMENT AND KEEPS THE DRILLING AREA CLEAR.Works with casing cementing loging and directional drilling crews in performing specialized work related down hole opretion.Works at the Derrick when needed.Keeps the well shut in tools (safety valve grey valve) in good working condition.
