Oversee execution of the drilling program in compliance with company standards and client requirements. • Supervise the Driller and crew during drilling, tripping, casing, cementing, and well control operations. • Monitor drilling parameters and progress to ensure optimum performance and minimum downtime. • Liaise with company man (operator’s representative), mud engineer, geologist, and service contractors. • Ensure proper well control procedures are followed at all times. 2. Personnel Management • Supervise, train, and mentor drillers, derrickmen, floorhands, and other rig crew. • Schedule crew shifts and ensure adequate manpower coverage. • Conduct safety meetings, pre-job briefings, and toolbox talks. • Manage crew discipline, performance, and welfare. 3. Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) • Enforce all HSE policies, procedures, and safe working practices. • Conduct and document safety drills, hazard identification, and risk assessments. • Stop unsafe work immediately and correct hazards. • Ensure compliance with government regulations and client HSE standards. • Report and investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions. 4. Equipment & Maintenance • Oversee rig equipment operation, preventive maintenance, and repairs. • Coordinate with Rig Mechanic and Rig Electrician for technical issues. • Verify proper use of tools and consumables. • Ensure critical spare parts and supplies are available on location. • Approve maintenance schedules and ensure downtime is minimized.

Leadership & Supervision – ability to lead, motivate, and manage multi-disciplinary rig crews. • Drilling Operations Knowledge – strong understanding of drilling techniques, well control, casing, cementing, and rig
