• Assist the Driller in the operation of drilling equipment, ensuring smooth and efficient daily operations on the rig. • Monitor and adjust drilling parameters to ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance with operational guidelines. • Coordinate with the crew to execute drilling plans and procedures, ensuring proper execution of the daily activities. • Conduct regular inspections of drilling machinery and equipment to ensure proper functioning and prevent breakdowns. • Collaborate with the safety team to ensure all safety measures are followed, including proper use of PPE, safety drills, and emergency procedures. • Record daily reports on drilling operations, including depth, mud weight, and pressure readings. • Assist with rig-up and rig-down operations for various types of rigs. • Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical issues under supervision of the Driller and other senior personnel. • Flexible and Capable of working in the most harsh weather and remote located areas. • Ability to plan and Supervise equipment preparation for impending drilling operations. • Ensure that well control requirements are in place according to operational requirements. • Perform relative well control calculations (i.e. mud weight increase, circulating pressures, etc). • Assist in the planning, organization and supervision of rig move operations. • Repaired and maintained all drilling systems, equipment and work areas as directed by the Driller. • Measurement for BHA and drill pipe for pipe tally. • Arrange the drill pipe for trip in trip out and drilling operation. • Prepare the tools and equipment for BOP N/U, N/D and rig move activities.
