 Developing, implementing and reviewing occupational health & safety plans, policies & programs.  Identifying hazards, assessing and controlling risks in the workplace based on Method Statements.  Developing, implementing and monitoring programs minimizing workplace pollution involving chemical & physical hazards.  Inspecting & auditing workplaces, processes, plant, chemical, physical hazards for legislative compliance  Recording & investigating near miss, injuries, equipment damage, reporting safety performance to find root causes & recommendations to prevent recurrence, coordinating the return of injured workers at the workplace.  Ensure that organizations comply with permit compliance, health & safety laws and regulations.  Conducting & monitoring compliance ofsafety legislative regulations & laws by performing audits, inspections, site survey.  Representative in HSE meetings, management of change with employees, contractors and client.  Conduct regular emergency drills and exercises, toolbox talks among employees.  Prepare the contractors monthly HSE progress report, update notice boards and conduct weekly HSE campaigns & other HSE management documentations.  Evaluate use and suitability of personal protective equipment provided, ensure they meet required standards and where necessary make recommendations for improvement.  Participate with the Client Health, Safety & Environment department in training programme, emergency plans and exercises.  Assist in Developing Risk Assessment/JSA for jobs performed in line with permit to work procedure.
