As a Slickline Operator, I am responsible for carrying out well intervention operations using slickline equipment to support maintenance, repair, and production enhancement of oil and gas wells. My main tasks include running and retrieving various downhole tools such as plugs, valves, and flow control devices, as well as setting, shifting, and removing equipment as required for each job. I operate, inspect, and maintain slickline units and pressure control systems, including lubricators, wireline valves, and hydraulic pumps. I ensure that all tools and equipment are properly checked, serviced, and calibrated before and after each operation to maintain reliability and prevent downtime. Safety and compliance are always my top priorities. I follow company procedures, safety standards, and industry regulations during rig-up, pressure testing, and rig-down. I regularly participate in safety meetings and perform pre-job hazard assessments to identify and control potential risks. In addition, I prepare and maintain detailed operational documentation, including job summaries, tool string data, depth records, and daily reports. These reports help ensure transparency, accuracy, and proper coordination with supervisors and engineers. I also perform fishing operations to recover stuck or broken tools, remove fill or debris, and address wellbore obstructions. I work closely with wellsite supervisors, engineers, and other team members to plan and execute jobs efficiently and safely. With experience in both onshore and offshore operations, I am accustomed to working under challenging and remote conditions. My focus on teamwork, technical expertise, and problem-solving ensures successful and safe slickline operations that meet company and client expectations.
