Roles and Responsibilities
Maintaining and ensuring the proper operation of equipment and performing appropriate preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure uninterrupted work. Carrying out Preventive, Corrective Maintenance and Troubleshooting on various Mechanical Equipment of the rig, like Diesel engines, mud pump, air compressors, hydraulic & pneumatic power units and systems. Carrying out Preventive, Corrective Maintenance and Troubleshooting on Caterpillar (C15, C18, 3508B, 3512, Detroit Series 60). Carrying out Preventive, Corrective Maintenance and Troubleshooting on Rotary and Stationary machinery. Keeping the rig running by good operation. Perform overhauling of Mission centrifugal pumps. Checks equipment for safe operating feature sand maintains an accurate schedule and record of maintenance. Participate in overhauling of NOV (Mud Pump – 9-P-100 – 1000HP), low clutch of drawworks, Air Winch, power tong, Travelling block, and rotary table transmission.
