I am currently working in the completions tools field, where my main responsibilities include assembling and inspecting various downhole tools such as cement retainers, bridge plugs, and packers. I also have hands-on experience with both hydraulic and mechanical setting tools. My work involves reviewing customer RFQs (Requests for Quotation), preparing accurate and competitive quotations, and coordinating with clients to ensure all technical and commercial requirements are met. In addition to assembly and quotation work, I perform detailed inspections on tools before and after operations to ensure quality and reliability. I prepare and maintain technical documentation such as DIR (Detailed Inspection Reports), NCR (Non-Conformance Reports), and PDS (Product Data Sheets). These reports are essential for maintaining traceability, quality assurance, and continuous improvement in our operations. Throughout my experience, I have gained strong practical knowledge of completion tools and developed good technical and reporting skills. I am confident in handling multiple responsibilities — from workshop assembly and testing to documentation and customer support. My exposure to different completion tools and quality processes has given me a solid foundation for moving toward field or rig-site roles in the oil and gas industry.
