Lead and supervise all electrical maintenance and repair activities on the rig. Ensure safe and reliable operation of all electrical equipment, including generators, motors, VFD systems, and drilling equipment. Perform troubleshooting and fault-finding on high-voltage and low-voltage systems. Plan, schedule, and execute preventive and corrective maintenance tasks. Maintain and update electrical documentation, logs, and maintenance reports. Coordinate with the Rig Manager and other departments to ensure continuous operations with minimal downtime. Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, company policies, and industry regulations. Train and mentor junior electricians and technicians. Conduct inspections and testing of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or failures. Support emergency response and participate in safety drills.

Hands-on experience with generators, motors, SCR systems, VFDs, and PLC-based controls. Certifications Knowledge of rig safety standards and procedures. Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings.
