As a Senior Rig Electrician with more than 10 years of experience in oil and gas drilling operations, I am responsible for performing preventive and corrective electrical maintenance on all rig systems to ensure continuous and safe drilling operations. My work includes troubleshooting electrical faults, repairing wiring, replacing components, and maintaining power distribution systems on the rig. I have extensive hands-on experience working on Rig 48 (200 HP) for 3 years and Rig 11 (1500 HP) for more than 7 years, where I handled VFD ABB Drives, SCR systems, and Caterpillar generator sets such as CAT 3512B and 3512C. My responsibilities include diagnosing faults in VFDs, SCR panels, TDS 11SA units, PS 500 panels, and generator control systems, as well as ensuring that all equipment is maintained to the highest safety standards.
