I must perform my duties towards the excavator floor, attend to lifting, lowering, and dumping operations, and Perform emergency duties as per Station Bill and Emergency Procedures manual. • Effectively participate in the Stop Observe Act Report (SOAR) program and encourage active participation. • Comply with and effectively contribute to the continuous improvement of RMS, Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) related policies and procedures, and relevant authority regulatory requirements. • Execute instructions from the Driller, Assistant Driller, Pumpman or Derrickmen, as applicable. • Ensure full understanding of the safe operation of equipment on the drill floor. • Work in the shaker house recording mud weights and viscosity as instructed by the Driller, Assistant Driller, Pumpman or Derrickmen, as applicable. • Assist with treatment of the mud system as required. • Carry out equipment checks, and safety checks as delegated by Assistant Driller, Pumpman or Derrickmen, as applicable. • Lubricate drilling equipment as instructed by Assistant Driller, Pumpman or Derrickmen, as applicable. • Perform thorough and timely derrick inspections and Dropped Object Checks, document the results, and ensure any anomalies are reported. • Perform thorough and timely planned maintenance on drilling equipment and record results, under the supervision of the Assistant Driller, Pumpman or Derrickmen, as applicable. • Perform all work according to agreed expectations of both internal and external customers, focus on doing things right the first time, every time, and contribute actively to continual improvement activities. • Comply with company’s Code of Conduct. • Ensure good housekeeping in his/her areas of work. • Utilize and participate in job planning processes. • Effectively participate in Risk Assessment and Permit to Work processes. • Operate drilling equipment and tools (i.e., rig tongs, iron roughneck, elevators and slips and other relevant systems and equipment on drill floor). • Forms part of well control team during well control procedures. • Contribute to the effective execution of mechanical lifting operations. • Assist with maintenance and repair of work equipment, tools, rig structures as directed. • Keep count of pipes in/out of hole.
