Senior Offshore Electrical Engineer Saipem Offshore Rig Maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical equipment on offshore rigs. Synchronization of AC generators (Kato) and engines (CAT 3512C, GM). August 2019 – Present Maintenance of UPS systems, PLCs, emergency generators, and jack-up systems. Handling single-phase and three-phase motors, Ingersoll Rand M90 Air Compressors. Experience with oil-water separators (Sigma), water makers (Maximum). Overhaul & repair of CAT 3511C engines and shutdown systems. Monthly maintenance of SCR contactors and controls (GE & Ross Hill). Extensive knowledge of top drive systems (VFD TDS-11SA). Led full rig maintenance at Dry Docks Dubai (2017-2018). Maintenance of El Magco Brake models 6032 and 7839. Expertise in BOP control packages (Electro-Flow Control Design). Replacement and servicing of composite and auxiliary cables. Maintenance of DC motors (5GE752 shunt) for drilling equipment. Troubleshooting dynamic brake resistors and thermal switch protection systems. Repair and maintenance of PCM120 Marathon Letourneau Cranes (safety, load indicator, and emergency systems). Experience in MD Totco systems and electrical fault-finding. Troubleshooting of SCR systems, alternators, and safety circuits. Calibration and repair of H2S, CH4 gas detectors, and smoke, heat, UV sensors. Maintenance of A/C and D/C equipment, welding machines, and high-voltage switchboards (715KVA Transformers). Troubleshooting of thruster control and Siemens PLC systems. Execution of Lockout & Tagout (LOTO) procedures, cable pulling, and lighting installations. Maintaining critical electrical spares and backup systems. Supervising rig skidding, sea-water jack operations, pedestal crane maintenance. Maintenance of fire, gas, refrigeration, ovens, air conditioners, and pump systems
