Taking Regular Field Readings You collect and record: Temperature Pressure Flow rate Level Differential pressure Vibration Pump/compressor suction & discharge readings This helps the panel operator adjust the plant safely. --- 3. Starting and Stopping Equipment You handle field shutdown/startup activities, including: Pump lineup and changeover Opening/closing valves Switching equipment in service Supporting compressor start-up Furnace lighting assistance and monitoring --- 4. Line-up and Valve Operations You ensure the correct line-up during: Product transfer Tank changeover Unit startup Unit shutdown Draining or depressurizing Valve misalignment can cause major accidents — so this is a critical responsibility. --- 5.
