Weekly and Monthly Maintenance Duties ‎ ‎Electrical Motors: ‎ ‎Inspect and check all motors for proper operation. ‎ ‎Perform greasing of motor bearings as required. ‎ ‎Check for abnormal noise, vibration, and overheating. ‎ ‎DW / Mud Pump & Agitator Motor Maintenance: ‎ ‎Inspect motors and control panels weekly. ‎ ‎Check and tighten connections. ‎ ‎Verify operational status and troubleshoot any faults. Grease and clean components as necessary. ‎ ‎Main Camp Electrical Equipment: ‎ ‎Inspect and maintain all camp A/C units, lighting systems, and water pumps. ‎ ‎Perform cleaning, electrical checks, and repairs as needed. ‎ ‎Replace faulty bulbs, switches, or components. ‎ ‎2. Generator Maintenance (Every 6 Months) ‎ ‎Perform full inspection and preventive maintenance. ‎ ‎Check and grease bearings. ‎ ‎Inspect electrical and control connections. ‎ ‎Verify generator performance under load. ‎ ‎3. Work Permit Process ‎ ‎Before starting any electrical or mechanical work: ‎ ‎Prepare a work permit. ‎ ‎Get it signed by the Rig Manager and Company Man. ‎ ‎After job completion: ‎ ‎Test and inspect the job area/equipment. ‎ ‎Close the work permit with appropriate sign-off. ‎ ‎4. Rig Move Preparation ‎ ‎Prepare rig moving equipment in advance. ‎ ‎Safely disconnect all power cables for: ‎ ‎DW mud pumps ‎ ‎Mud tank agitator motors ‎ ‎Ensure proper labeling and storage of disconnected cables. ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
