Key Responsibilities Drilling Operations: Assist the Driller and other crew members with making and breaking pipe, operating tongs and wrenches, setting and pulling slips, and other tasks on the drill floor to support well operations.  Equipment Maintenance & Repair: Perform routine maintenance on drilling equipment, use hand and power tools for repairs, and ensure all handling tools are in good working condition.  Housekeeping & Site Safety: Keep the rig floor and surrounding work areas clean, organized, and free of debris. Immediately report any actual or potential hazards or defects to the Driller or Assistant Driller.  Material Handling: Gather, handle, and sort tools, pipes, and other materials needed for the day's projects.  Equipment Setup & Takedown: Assist in setting up and taking down equipment as required for specific projects.  Safety Compliance: Follow all company safety policies and procedures, and ensure safety protocols are adhered to on the rig floor.  Reporting: Notify the Driller/Assistant Driller of any defects, anomalies, or malfunctions found during maintenance duties.  General Duties: Perform various manual labor tasks as directed by the Driller or Assistant Driller, including cleaning and painting equipment or areas of the rig.
