Assist in the assembly, disassembly, and maintenance of drilling equipment Handle drill pipes, casing, and other tubulars during tripping operations Operate tongs, slips, elevators, and other rig floor tools safely Clean, inspect, and lubricate rig equipment to ensure proper functioning Monitor drilling operations and respond quickly to instructions from the Driller Maintain housekeeping standards on the rig floor and surrounding areas Support routine inspections and report any equipment faults or hazards Assist Derrickman and Driller in running BOP, mud operations, and pipe handling Follow all company safety policies and participate in toolbox talks and safety drills Help in loading/unloading materials and organizing storage areas Ensure proper use of PPE and adherence to all HSE guidelines Assist mechanics and electricians during routine maintenance (when required) Maintain accurate tool and equipment logs (if assigned) Act as a fire watcher or standby person during high-risk activities
