Picup driver or mechanical assistant i have enjoyed my own job i do our potential i m interested everyday learning some new i love my job i tary to lern evray day releted owar job it like my hobbies Rotating Equipment Maintenance: Assisting with the preventive and corrective maintenance of critical rotating equipment such as pumps (centrifugal, reciprocating), compressors, turbines (gas and steam), and diesel engines/generators.Drilling Systems Support (Rig Mechanic Assistant): On drilling rigs, assisting with the maintenance and overhaul of the drawworks, top drives, mud pumps, and BOP (Blowout Preventer) systems.Disassembly and Reassembly: Helping to dismantle, clean, inspect, repair, and reassemble large mechanical components and subsystems as directed.Lubrication and Servicing: Following strict lubrication schedules for all machinery, performing oil changes, and checking fluid levels (hydraulic oil, coolant, etc.).2. Operational and Safety Compliance Given the high-risk nature of the Oil & Gas environment, strict adherence to safety and operational procedures is crucial. HSE Compliance: Actively following all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Permit-to-Work (PTW): Understanding and strictly following the Permit-to-Work system before commencing any maintenance or repair activity. Lockout/Tagout (LOTO): Assisting with or performing LOTO procedures to isolate and de-energize equipment before maintenance to prevent accidental startup. Housekeeping: Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workshop and work area, which includes proper handling and disposal of hazardous waste (oils, solvents, etc.). Rigging and Lifting: Assisting with rigging and slinging operations for lifting and positioning heavy equipment parts safely. 3. Tool and Inventory Management Effective management of tools and spare parts is vital for minimizing equipment downtime. Tool Management: Responsible for the proper selection, use, cleaning, calibration, and storage of hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, alignment tools). Parts Inventory: Assisting in managing the spare parts inventory, helping to track parts used, and assisting with the ordering and receiving of necessary components. Documentation: Accurately logging work performed, including the time taken, parts used, and any observations in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) or paper records. This role serves as a crucial training ground, providing hands-on experience necessary to advance into a full Mechanical Technician or Rig Mechanic position.
