⮚ Daily wrote the shift jobs Report and follow-up in logbook (Hand over Take over Shift), proper relieving to upcoming shift people about all activities carried out in the shift for ensuring the continuity of activities safely and effectively. ⮚ The job includes continuous monitoring & maintaining process parameters like temperature, pressure, flow, and level and logging them at regular intervals and adjusting the parameters according to the requirements and also monitoring pumps and compressors any abnormal ⮚ Oversee and ensure safe smooth and efficient operations, process plant also make corrective action regarding any operational disturbance, coordinate with area operators for field adjustments also inform operation engineer of any irregularities. Act as communication hub for plant and off plot operations. ⮚ Monitoring of trends, Alarms, Events to perform logical corrections to prevent interruptions of system operations. ⮚ Following interlocks (MOS or TDS) override as per SOPs for start-up and shut down or any maintenance purpose. ⮚ Monitor the performance of all the critical equipment’s of the unit. ⮚ Monitor the motor conditions Motor control center (MCC). ⮚ Take initiation for identifying the problems and solve them. ⮚ Logging of plant parameters in log sheets, events in logbook and also preparing daily shift reports. ⮚ Involved in Technical discussions equipment's maintenance problems with area manager and engineers. ⮚ Assisting management in various process related aspects for improving the performance of equipment’s and processes. ⮚ Handling emergencies during the power trips and cold start-up and hot start-up and shut down as per sop. ⮚ Handling over the equipment’s safely for the maintenance after the positive isolation ⮚ Maintain the record of the future/past shut-down jobs SOP. ⮚ Co-ordination withal maintenance departments like mechanical, electrical and instrumentation departments for the smooth running of the plant without any equipment down time and maintenance job to be carried out. ⮚ Follow up of permit to work system and maintain their record. ⮚ LOTO provided as per mark up P&ID ⮚ Initiation of emergency action plan in the event of a serious incident, emergency hooter, communication with Shift Team leader, Production & HSE coordinator, continue to maintain emergency log record and safe shutdown of equipment or plant to protect all company assets and the public. ⮚ Co-operate in internal and external audits related to the field and DCS. ⮚ Co-ordinate with the laboratory technicians to ensure accurate and desirable unit analyses.
