• Read and understand DOI. • Confer with the duty Unit Team Leader to establish priorities for the shift. • Plan work activities together with other Technicians in the Shift team. • Co-ordinate work activities with the Field Technicians. • Monitor and adjust process variables to ensure these are within established or targeted parameters. • Make adjustments to rectify process deviations. • Pen down process delays occurred within his shift and provide the list to Team Leader report for consolidation. • Liaise with other operating Units to prioritize of raw materials charging. • Communicate with the Field Technicians to ensure Unit is running safely and efficiently. • Co-ordinate with the Maintenance groups to schedule work activities so as to minimise or eliminate process disruption. • Follow-up with lab on sample results. Make adjustments to rectify off-specification results. • Receive and co-ordinate unloading of raw material. Follow up on the necessary paper work. • Communicate with the Field Technicians to update Unit status if process changes have been made.
